Izakaya Den

Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, and amazing sushi. Super fresh and amazing flavors.

Delicious and great atmosphere!

We went as soon as they opened for the night for my wife's birthday, as she loves sushi and I've heard from many people that Izakaya/Sushi Den is some of the best sushi you'll get in the US. I don't even like fish, so I was fine just getting a very good steak but my waiter suggested some sushi for us that I might like to try as well and he was right! They were very good to us and our very young baby, we had some very solid cocktails and world-class sushi and I consider myself a convert now. We'll be back!

Could well be some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. I also loved the low sushi bar with my own personal chef.

One of my top three favorite places in Denver, along with its sibling, Sushi Den, counted as one.

Izakaya Den is our favorite restaurant in Denver. Absolutely amazing sushi, drinks, service, and an incredible atmosphere. It is a bit pricey and it is totally worth it. I have had sushi in Japan and it has nothing on this place. We have spent many a special occasion here and made great memories here as a family. Shout out to server John Giruzzi, his service and sake knowledge are the best. So grateful to have a restaurant of this quality in our neighood!

Food is pretty good, service is excellent. The fish in my chirashi was excellent. I felt the variety and quality were more than acceptable. There was a lot of rice though. I love rice and still thought there might have been too much compared to the amount of fish. My companion liked her vegetable tempera roll and the tofu steak, which is definitely two meals with the side of rice. Everyone at the restaurant was so nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in through when we left.
