Delicious food. Egregiously overpriced even by Boston small plates vibey place standards. Maybe even by NYC standards. Left hungry.
Came here with a couple friends a little later in the night, it looks like they were about to close early but they happily served us. The drinks here are insanely good, I can’t stop thinking about how good it was. The service was also amazing, one of the staff overheard me talking about an amaro I hadn’t tried and immediately poured me a taste of it, would definitely visit if you’re in the area!!
Go for cocktails. Eat elsewhere. This place used to serve good food and had a great raw bar. Now, they overcharge you for the tiniest portion of the most underwhelming food. Ivory Pearl seems to have lost its identity. It’s trying to lean into the fine dining experience but falls spectularly, comically flat in that endeavor. Please bring back the old menu.
We went here for valentine’s day and they had a nice cute valentines course. We opted for the a la carte menu and got the scalloped potatoes, bass, lobster diavolo, and saffron ice cream for dessert. the scalloped potatoes were phenomenal, highly recommend. the saffron ice cream for dessert was the perfect finish. however the portions were VERY small and we finished the meal pretty quickly. the ingredients were very fresh though, and flavors were well put together
This is our second time here.. we’d come here initially when it had first opened. The food is delicious but OMG the portion sizes are microscopic in comparison to what we are paying for each dish!! Cocktails are great.. but you go home hungry!!
The food is good; the portions are ridiculously small. Think small appetizer pretending its an entree. Cocktails are sublime.
Food was solid but unspectacular, however, the value of the food was horrific. The "tapas" style dishes are incredibly small. We spent $150 and were still so hungry we went to get pizza after. Our first dish was $26 and was a literal single scallop cut into eighths with about 1.5 spoonfuls of mashed potatoes. Another dish was 4 pieces of broccolini flood with caesar for $16. Waitress was nice and knowledgeable, but the size of the meals needs to double or the prices need to be cut by 50%.
