Walk up and order your favorite seafood cuisine, from fish and chips to chowder they have what you need. The food is served hot and fresh. The fish tenders are flaky and light. You can order the piece size that suits you. The fries are crisp , tender, and seasoned just right. They give you plenty of ketchup and tarter sauce. There is a place to sit with your food right next to the order zone. It does have birds in there and the tables are metal grate picnic style, but a wonderful view of the bay. Great music playing makes it a good eat!
Best Food Ever! Clam chowder is a must!
My Great Northwest JAM! Gotta get that Ivar's fix whenever I'm in Seattle or Spokane! ✌️
Seattle is home to many restaurants that offer fresh seafood, including salmon and cod from Alaska, and seafood sourced from the waters near Washington State. We can enjoy our meal while overlooking the sea, docks, and bustling seagulls from the tables by the wide-open windows in the restaurant. ■Ivar’s World Famous True Cod Fish ‘n Chips A tender and plump Alaska true cod fry offering a refined flavor profile. Crispy, golden-brown fries served abundantly. Perfectly complements a cold beer. ■Ivar’s Clam Chowder A hearty clam chowder packed with rich clam flavor. With classic oyster crackers included.
Good food. Mimosas are not the best. Excellent service. Beautiful view.
A huge and beautiful place for seafood. Fast, friendly service and excellent food.
I love the happy hour from 3-6 pm for meals. The fish and chips is enough for a dinner at $15.50. They have a good cocktail list special too for $10. The best part? The view. Stunning. And drinking the tap water here is still really good. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat and no stairs. This is the nose accessible restaurant I've seen for a wheel chair.
