It's Just Wings

First off this isn’t my fist time ordering the chilis “It’s Just Wings” but it was my first time ordering from this location on university in Pines. I ordered the 16pc wings which are supposed to come with fries and 2 wing flavors as well as 2 dipping sauces of ranch or blue cheese but at the end I added extra fries. I arrive— they don’t bring it to my car even though I check in. I enter and give my name, sure enough workers are at the counter and my food on the rack but no one is “available” to bring my food even though at 12pm on a Friday with a low occupancy in the building you’d think otherwise. So far I’m ignoring the bad management but then I open up my food at the counter in front of them and it’s a disaster: 16pc chicken wings with no wing sauce to be seen except in in small 2oz sauce containers and my added fries are missing and no dipping sauces of the ranch that I ordered; in simpler words I received plain wings with missing sauces and a missing side. Obviously I complain— the girl at the counter I know is just a teenager so I tell her what’s wrong but to bring a manager if anything so I can explain. A manager comes out from which I heard him in the kitchen arguing with his teenage employee and starts in with an attitude( I work in a restaurant as a server, I understand things can get heated especially when busy but at 12pm on a friday before rush hour and when I can plainly see that you have barely any customers inside, I don’t understand why there’s any attitude especially when my order is completely wrong) I explain to him and he’s hanging onto his breath to immediately explain how on the restaurant ticket that’s not how it shows and that I must have ordered it wrong— There is a lot to pick at in this one interaction but I’ll stick to just telling the story— So being frustrated already and seeing I’ll have to argue my side, I pull out my phone and show him just exactly how I ordered my food via google. Showed him that there isn’t even an option to put ranch as a wing flavor which is what he argued what I did. Showed him that I did in fact order my wing flavors as garlic Parmesan and mild bbq, and that these were not and couldn’t be dipping sauces because there’s not even an OPTION FOR IT ON GOOGLE. Immediately, he backtracks, apologizes though I may add not so graciously and has them fixed. I don’t usually write reviews much less bad ones and even less over something like food but I guess I’m already having a bad day. I give two stars because even though service/management was so bad through most of this interaction, at least in the end I did receive my order how I wanted. **ill add that it seems management doesn’t know how to read their food tickets because as I scroll through other reviews, their orders look just as plain and ridiculous as mine with similar mistakes. Just wondering how many times they’re going to make this mistake before a district manager has to be called to do some much needed retraining.

Awful food is nasty

Chicken is dry, also can feel the taste that over burned and old oil in the deep fryer… and Sprite taste as a soda. No flavor at all! At least the delivery was ok.

The food wasn’t good. I only ate a small portion and couldn’t finished. The fries were stale and cooked in old grease. The wings didn’t have much of a lemon pepper flavor. The ranch was tasteless and watery. I will not be trying them again!!

Wanted to try a different wing place ordered the bbq chipotle boneless and they are better than bdubs I don't understand the bad reviews about this place

I received a credit from my job for $15 for a grubhub order. Cool. I wanted wings and wanted to try a new place. I saw It's Just Wings. I read the reviews on Grubhub and decided to order lemon pepper wings with fries. I'm still so disappointed in what I received. This happened months ago. I hope they're better now. Don't believe grubhub reviews though.

Wings were hard and dry. Fries were eatable. We ordered smoked bone-in wings, we received some plain ones loaded with seasoning powder over them.

I always eat the wings. But I'm giving a 3 star due to them frying the hell out of the fries and wings this time. Extra crispy to that extent is like extra burnt. Which we don't eat.-----I tried responding and after 20 minutes of the site not allowing me to go pass location, I gave up. ‍
