Perfect Valentine’s Day meal. The restaurant is upscale, chic, and sophisticated with pretty downtown views. The server, Jesus, was excellent. The attentiveness of Christian the manager was off the charts. We ordered chicken piccata, loved it. The pasta is made in house and everything is fresh. The bread and whipped ricotta is delicious, it is an extra cost—worth it. The wine list is respectable and the restaurant gives big city vibes in all the right ways. Parking typically available on the street, garages available too. Reservations recommended.

I think this is likely the high bar on “high end” Italian food in Lex. Of the half dozen times I have eaten here, I haven’t had a bad experience. It’s the most delightful when the weather cooperates for the doors to be open. Wine list is somewhat meh.

We went during lunch on a Friday. We decided not to have wine. Ordered the Limonata, which is made at the bar. Absolutely perfect. Started with the meatballs and whipped ricotta and the focaccia. Delicious. My daughter liked the meatballs so much she ordered spaghetti and meatballs for her entree. I chose the Cacio e Pepe, it tasted like the one I had in Italy this summer . We tried the Budino di Chocolato and Zeppole San Giuseppe for dessert, loved them both. We will definitely go back, would love to try a sandwich maybe an evening just to have drinks. Parking: We parked in the public parking lot one block up from the restaurant.

The best Italian meal I have had in Lexington. Cacio E Pepe was fantastic and my wife loved the chicken piccata. Host was awesome, working hard all night. Only not great was I first thought the ceaser salad was not dressed until I noticed the dressing was spackled to the side of the bowl. I guess that is how they come as it was the same for my wife. Would have preferred it had been tossed because once I scraped it off the sides it was good.
