Isola Osteria

Food came out luke warm. It was decent but not outstanding. Was offered bread, we said yes. Had to ask for it when we didn't receive it. Had to ask a third time and still didn't get it. After meal was cleared, was offered desert, we said ok, need a menu. Never got one, came around and offered desert a 2nd time, again we said we need the menu. Never received a menu and no follow up. All in all disappointed. Not sure if we will be going back.

For me being from Sicily I have to say I felt right at home with both the food and the ambience/ interaction with the stuff! I encourage you to be open minded and try some of the specialties you are might not to familiar with because trust me it’s worth every penny! Can’t wait to bring my family and friends there.

Fantastic service and food!

Mixed feelings. Tried this place 2 times with a couple of weeks. Wrote the restaurant with no response. 3/27: Went to Isola Osteria with two business partners and ordered a number of dishes including 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 6 drinks and 3 meals. The feedback I have specifically is on the Grigliata di Pesce. The two fishes were extremely overcooked - I would say about 2-3 minutes overcooked, thus really dry (I am a pescatarian so eat fish almost daily and everywhere I go to eat.) I would recommend serving the tiger spot prawns peeled - there is no way to peel them gracefully at the table and this deters me from ordering them again in the future. I didn't send my meal back because (1) we were already struggling with service - had to keep on asking for / calling over the waiter for water refills and new round of drinks (beer, wine, cocktails, soda) and then reminding the waiter that the drinks had not arrived and (2) I was at a business dinner and didn't want to extend dinner out any longer. Dinner took full 2 hours. 4/4: 2 of us went to the restaurant (rainy Thursday) and it was packed. Hostess okayed for us to take a spot at the bar. Service was very quick, friendly and knowledgeable. Ordered a glass of Italian red, specialty cocktail, Arancini and Cefalu (salad.) Drinks were almost instant and the food came out quickly and well presented. One of the menus was completely unreadable which was comical.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've been too. The owner is awesome very welcoming. The staff is great and the food is delicious.

Great service, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere. Only downside the room is very loud.

Totally disappointed, stale fries, uncooked, and raw eggplant. Couldn't eat, and sorry I won't be back here again.
