Awesome old-school Italian. Their sauce is sublime. Great food, great staff. A true gem of the UES.
I have gone there a few times Armando the waiter is excellent unfortunately , I don't want to return the bus boys are arrogant disrespectful , I am a hispanic I tip very well, but they have treated me and my guest very rudely unfortunately they do not treat hispanics well, it's very sad. Vegetarian options: no extensive vegeterian dishes, but still the food is good.
pretty nice dinner and service! they were nice enough to already split the plate we were sharing
We had an incredible birthday lunch here. Service was excellent. The food was delicious.
Disappointing and disrespectful. Due to the arrogant and slow service with no smiles or respectful attitude at all (I don't know why?), I decided not to leave a suggested tip. Despite this, I still left a 15% tip, which wasn't worth it. The outrageous one is that my bank statement later showed an extra $20 charge over what I had left. Does that mean I have to pay 30%+? Why? For the experience, after a while of placing my order, they told me the many dishes on Specialities I ordered were unavailable (even simple lasagna). None of the staff seemed to understand the menu. I still accepted the replacements politely. It seems that this friendliness was not understood at all. The bread was terrible, but the pasta was okay. Changing the tip goes against the spirit of American restaurants.
Great food, classic Italian menu
had a blast, amazing service and food, on top of everything I met Chris Noth .
