Always delicious Great workers and good he owner is a great lady
I've driven by this place hundreds of times and didn't know it was here. A quaint hole in the wall restaurant tucked away in plain sight. Its thee place in Melbourne to get fresh seafood. They are known for their onion crusted fish breading with a bacon citrus glaze, we had it with grouper and it was perfect. The Ahi tuna seared with jerked seasoning and a dill cream sauce was mellow and buttery. Make sure you get the fried spinach as a side, I think its made with beef tallow, which gives it wonderful flavor and it melts in your mouth. We had creme brulee and key lime pie, both amazing, but the key lime pie shined through with a stronger citrus kick to balance out the sweet. I can't remember our server's name, but he was a pro. Cheers!
I have wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time. The food was very good but it is crowded and noisy. We had a very attentive server. I had the onion crusted grouper, which was delicious but I don’t think it went well with the Gorgonzola grits. I think it was too much of a good thing on the same plate. Both were delicious I just don’t think together was optimum. My husband had the fried crabcakes which he liked. We had the bacon citrus potato chips as an appetizer and they were very good as well. We were too full to have dessert, but I noticed a Keylime pie and a chocolate moose at the next table, which looked very delicious. Parking: Parking lot is very small and there is only one way to go in. You have to back out of the parking lot into the street to leave the area.
This restaurant NEVER disappoints. The Chef’s food, staff, & management is always on point!! Thank you for a great Anniversary dinner!
Our waiter Jonny was fabulous with great recommendations. We had the snapper with the onion coating , fried spinach and grits . By far the best meal i have ever had . I would give 6 stars if I could
This place embodies everything you’d expect from local flair. Triple tail fish and the grits are amazing
Absolutely tremendous restaurant all around. The service and atmosphere are top notch, and the food knocks it all out of the park. I don't even really like seafood, but y'all....this is different. I had to remind myself to breathe while eating because enjoying the onion encrusted snapper, fried spinach, and garlic parm grits became an involuntary action in favor of the usual bodily functions. I could not recommend this more!!
I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. This might be the best meal I’ve ever eaten and I eat fine-dining often. The complexity of the flavors was amazing and well worth the fifty minute drive from Orlando. If you’re looking for an impressive experience I suggest you seek this place out. I will be back the next time I visit Florida.
