This place stands out among so many Jamaican restaurants. The food is consistently delicious, they serve Jamaican as well as other dishes, and the service is pleasant and friendly; but that’s not all, it’s a full sit down restaurant and bar! Plus, there’s fun entertainment on given nights and an overall come in, sit down and enjoy atmosphere.

All I asked for was a large red pea soup. It was the worst thing I've ever tasted. It took 23 minutes to get to my niece. Served in a styrofoam cup with a flimsy top that fell into the soup. It apparently had been frozen. One of the few beans was still cold. Had my niece call them; they made no offer to reconcile the problem. If it had been good I'd tell everyone I know. It was not, my chickens wouldn't eat it. I'm telling everyone I know.

Yall this place is absolutely amazing, so I went to sign up for the gym, cause well I love food, so time to lose some weight, but I walked out from the gym and completely forgot island breeze cafe was right down from it, so I had to go and get me some ox tail, now that I'm in Callahan I needed to find me a place that compared to Irie diner and potter house, y'all this place in my opinion tops both of them, the flavor and tenderness of the ox tail was ON Point, the rice and peas was excellent and cabbage was so good. Yall have got to check it out. There was so much food. Parking: It's in an older shopping mall so there is plenty of parking.

When I first heard about this place, I visited & order the Jerk Pork. It was all that!! I hv been a few times since and the last two times was disappointing. I ordered the curry shrimp & my shrimp were way over cooked and so was the cabbage. I just went yesterday & ordered the Jerk pork... which is my fave. The pork pieces that were in my meal were dry, hard, & way over cooked... I should hv took it back but I had a long day yesterday & frankly was not in the mood to drive the 5½ miles back to the restaurant. I want to see this black owned business to do well so, I will give them one more chance to mk things right...I don't want to get my food overcooked again!! They need to do better!!!

This is a Jamaican restaurant so although they do have a few other items, please not that Jamie food is the primary cuisine served. The menu is hefty, and yhete are plenty of things to choose from. So let me just state up front that I completely forgot to take pictures of the majority of my food. When I arrived I was starving. I hadn't eaten all day (unintentionally), so I wasn't even thinking about photos until much later. I did manage to get one photo of my Breezy Shrimp. They were delicious. If you need a reference, think Bang Bang Shrimp, but it's slightly different. Other items that were ordered were beef patties, rice and peas w/ oxtail gravy, and the wings. I wanted all flats w/ sweet and tangy sauce. Please note that there is an upcharge for all flats. All of the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I also ordered several rum punch and a Ja'Mosa, which is their version of a mimosa. Drinks were absolutely phenomenal and strong. The environment was nice, chil, and inviting. They had a good R&B mix playing in the background. All of the wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean as well. It's located in a plaza so there PLENTY of free parking. They have karaoke on Wednesday, Happy Hour on Thursdays from 5 - 7 PM, and brunch on Saturdays. I definitely plan to return.
