Best croissants in San Diego.It’s a toss-up between here and Wayfarer (in La Jolla), but the chocolate and the butter croissants are seriously out of this world!!

As always, the have the best tasting Eclairs! Great customer service.

Doordash order: Ordered online with estimate of under hour for delivery. 40min into order Dasher writes me that restaurant is taking way too long (over 20 minutes after dasher got there) even though order was 2 sandwiches 2 lattes and eclair. Finally, dasher arrived one and half hour later. With only ONE drink and after taking a sip of that drink I realized it was last night’s COFFEE and NOT the latte we ordered. After calling to the store about this issue, first persons resolution was to place another order through doordash and pay for it AGAIN! After I requested to talk to the manager I was greeted on the phone with "SUP?" Very professional indeed! After describing my situation best they can offer is "Have doordash refund you through their app" Why would I want doordash to pay for your restaurants screw up? BTW coffee tasted like it was brewed 24 hours ago and then Microwaved Sandwich did NOT had items described in the Doordash APP Eclair had typical old fridge smell. I suggest to stay away from this place as staff they employ are extremely unprofessional and incompetent

I come here for coffee and pastry often. Everyone is really nice and the pastries are good. But PLEASE PLEASE cook them a few minutes less, its always so burnt and crumbly, the few times I got nice soft perfectly cooked croissants they were out of this world. But lately everything is way overcooked.

I ordered a sandwich but the kitchen was closed. An extremely kind employee named Ben overheard and offered to make me a sandwich even though the kitchen was closed and he was about to go home! Meant he had to reclean the kitchen afterward. My hungry belly was so grateful and I was so impressed by the service.

First, I should say that we just returned from Paris. While there, we ate pastries every single day, as you do in Paris. Before our trip to France, we were already fans of Isabelle’s pastries. We’ve made life-long friends by feeding people these croissants! We love the food here. So, when we went to Paris we didn’t know what to expect, but we did assume that the French food and pastries would be amazing, and probably far beyond anything we have eaten in the U.S… And the pastries were good, splendid even. We are things we have never seen or heard of before. However, we never found any croissants or staple French pastries that could beat Isabelle’s. They’re still the best!
