3.5 / 5.0 - My friends and I were looking for a cafe for some coffee / tea and decided on Irving Farm because they have a spacious seating area in the back with a skylight. It was completely full, which is understandable for a Saturday afternoon, with a mix of people catching up and others on their laptops. Fortunately, a table opened up soon after we arrived and we were able to sit. Our table was in the corner and sectioned off, so we had our own little quiet corner, which was nice for catching up. I ordered the medium Matcha Latte ($6.25+), which was good. I also wanted a cookie or something sweet, but their selection of pastries was limited at 2pm. Perhaps, mornings are better for a wider selection.

The coffee was decent. Too bad they only serve it in disposable cups, despite it being a cafe with big seating area. The bagel with cream cheese that costs you 6 dollars comes out of fridge. The server couldn’t tell if it was from today. Didn’t feel fresh. They won’t make it for you - you are given a plastic knife and cream cheese in a plastic container in 2 paper bags. The staff seemed tired.

I’ll start off by saying that their coffee is good. However, I ordered a banana bread to go (which I’ve ordered in the past) and it was TINY! Considering I paid $5.25 for a mere 3 inch piece of banana bread is ridiculous. There needs to be better quality control.

As a coffee aficionado, I’m are always on the hunt for a perfect cup, I highly recommend their Cortado – it’s rich, velvety, with the perfect balance of espresso and steamed milk, it’s hands down the best in UWS! If you love a cozy spot to work or hang out with friends, check out the seating area at the back with a skylight !

The time I went I was served a poor cup of coffee and service. I ordered an americano and a scone. The lady sounded friendly but took no care at all. She put hot water and milk in my cup then add in the shot - which is not the method for an americano. Then the scone was like rubbery on the ends and not even that good. Seems like she was overworked and trying to get stuff done with only one other person there. Not a good experience. Also had some issues connecting to my wifi.

No wifi. HORRIBLE Americano. Hard to find ANY spot to sit!

Great place to work if you dont need wifi. Also the cell service is really bad if you sit inside.

All around great experience for quality coffee a spacious, clean spot to enjoy either some reading or Journaling time or a catch up with friends! Plenty of seating inside, a few tables outside. Enjoy!

Der Kaffee war sehr lecker. Er feine Frucht Noten und war nicht einfach nur Kaffee. Du Kannst dort auch Bohnen Kaufen, was ich auch tat. Auf Wunsch auch gemahlen. Auch Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Einzig im Hinteren Bereich tropfte es, aufgrund des starken Regens, von der Decke. Da war in dem Bereich alles nass. Ein Eimer darunter hätte das Problem halbwegs behoben.
