Good affordable cafeteria style food with friendly service.

This is my new favorite place for authentic Filipino food! It’s a 3-minute walk from the 16th & Mission BART station. The prices are great for the portion you get. I’ve tried the kare kare and daing na bangus and they remind me of my parents’ cooking. I think this place deserves way more hype.

Good authentic filipino food!

Near 16th BART. Unpretentious, bare-bones interior and the area is sketchy but... The food is consistent, authentic, freshly cooked, generous portions and VERY reasonably priced. I appreciate the rich variety and the garlic rice alone is worth the visit. Lunchtime is your best bet for the full selection - stuff goes fast as it gets later in the day. The staff is delightfully interesting, quirky and colorful (so is the clientele). Dishes are full of SOUL (if you catch my drift), Filipino home cookin' for real.

I came to this restaurant for the first time and Sitas took very good care of me and my party. As a Filipino native, the food was on point and was as authentic as you can get; the serving sizes were also fantastic! The Calamansi juice was perfect, not too sweet and not too sour, better than what my mom makes at home. We had the garlic rice with our side dishes and it was also very good, not too oily. The star of the show for me was definitely their chicken skewers and their sisig! I’m definitely come back when we visit SF again and recommending this restaurant to anyone who wants a taste of some great, authentic Filipino food with great service :)
