Great food and great people
Best, oxtails in Southwest, Florida
I was scrolling through Doordash and found this fantastic place! I originally wanted to try Oxtail, but since I had never tried it I wanted to get something safer like the Jerk Chicken, so I ordered that with rice and peas. While I'm waiting, I keep getting calls but I ignore them because it's an unknown number. Well they keep calling and when they finally answer I am so embarassed because it was the restaurant. They were out of jerk chicken and asked if I wanted to get something else. Well that was God's sign to try oxtail. Delicious!!! Thank you for your customer service and delicious food!
Irie has wonderful Jamaican food along with an amazing staff! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious!
The wife is snobby and you pay for small amounts of bones, and the food is a hit or miss.
So I was a regular at this establishment until they started charging me extra for the medium meals for the large meals highly disappointed in the service they gave me a bad batch of food after the miscommunication just wow so fed up WONT BE COMING BACK
One of my favorite Jamaican restaurants in Lee County. A nice cool seating place and the service is usually pretty good for me. The food is excellent 9/10 times. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but keep in mind that some things on the menu are made to order. A bit different, but the food is most definitely good. The one thing that I would advise avoiding is the macaroni and cheese, but please try the following: jerk pork, jerk chicken, oxtail, oxtail pasta, oxtail quesadilla, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, beef patties. Pretty much most of their menu is good. They have some competition around, but they're definitely one of the ones on top in the area. The staff is pretty cool, the restaurant is clean, and the seating is nice. I look forward to my next visit.
the brown chicken stew was not only savory but tender and melted in my mouth. I trusted my coworkers choice in getting me whatever and I would highly recommend this dish to anyone. the rice and side was also a great compliment. another coworker thought it was oxtail and when she tried a bite she couldn't believe it was chicken
Worst Jamaican restaurant experience in usa. I’m Jamaican and this was the absolute worst experience. I recently moved to sanibel so drove 30 miles and was so put off by the receptionist that I couldn’t eat the food. There’s no menu and only a list of a few available items without prices so i guess they charge based on how they feel or how you look! I ordered the curry shrimp but it came over cooked and tougher than well done steak! Absolutely disgusting; couldn’t eat more after the first bite!
