We were looking for a brunch spot that was a little bit more casual but still had good food and Irene's hit the spot. We tried two of the egg dishes and both were excellent with a variety of side salads to go along and the house sourdough toast. Our server was very kind and attentive without being too overwhelming. There was a bit of a wait, but we did go during peak brunch time on a Sunday, so that's not a surprise. The hostess was very accommodating and made sure that people weren't waiting too long.

Great location for breakfast and lunch in the area! The diner is very clean and cozy. The location and service are their strong points. The lunch veggie burger was tasty. Breakfast was a little expensive and ok (not the dried out pork squashages). The skillets and omelets looked really good at the other tables. I will visit again for the friendly service and the reasonably priced lunch menu. Vegetarian options: Not the pork sausage. It was hard and dry. See saucer at top/left in breakfast pic.
