Irassae

I recently discovered Irassae in Huntington Beach, and it's a game-changer for sushi lovers! This little spot might be easy to miss, but the sushi is unforgettable. We started with the Scallop and Tuna Specials, which were so flavorful they didn't even need soy sauce. The green mussel was a delight, and the "Vincent Handroll" was an absolute favorite. Don't miss out on the Ghost Roll – it's a flavor explosion! The staff is friendly, the ambiance cozy, and every dish we tried was a hit. If you're craving authentic, delicious sushi, Irassae is the place to go. Can't wait to return and try more off-the-menu specials!

One of my favorite sushi to go to! Quality of fish and prices are unbeatable. The place gets quite busy so I recommend be there at least half hour before they open for dinner. Staff are friendly. Love Vincent one of the sushi chefs. I come here at least once or twice a month.

I have been coming to this place for over 15 years. This place is always busy, and that's for a reason that the food is amazing. Fresh sushi caught daily. The staff are great and the service is wonderful. I feel like lunch is a bit easier to get in rather than dinner.

Food and sushi specials are always great! Takeout available. We have always had to wait to get in, so it's popular and in a small space. The albacore sushi and specialty rolls are a favorite.

Fresh ingredients and great service. Love this place. Their lunch specials are an incredible deal. 12/9/23 update - PLEASE DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS PLACE! IT'S TOO GOOD AND I DON'T WANT IT TO GET SO POPULAR I CAN'T GO THERE! LOL. Ok, all kidding aside, this place is still as delicious as ever. Took my bride here for date night last night. Fresh blue fin belly, amazing HB cut roll, Miso soup, the best seaweed salad, and the nicest people. Thank Vincent for taking such good care of us! Parking: There's a ton. Definitely more parking than needed. Your challenge will be finding a place to park your seat inside the restaurant, not your car.

Very good sushi and rolls!! Sashimi is very fresh and the cut is thick as I like it. Small restaurant but service is awesome and fast. Wait can be long during weekend and dinner time. Price is very affordable. Will come back!

Super delicious sushi place. I was amazed by their rolls and the excellent service. This has become my two sushi places in OC.
