Great place to stop. Place was pack with families on a Friday late night! The food will tell you why.

Great place for Pho! Portions are larger and priced lower than most Vietnamese places I've been to in Edmonton. The shrimp and peaches are delicious as are the vermicelli bowls. Service is great as well, great with kids, even if they are disruptive like mine. The waitress gave them some lollypops (after asking for permission) at the end which was a really nice gesture even though they are not obligated to. Ipho is a regular spot for us in the Southside and we've always enjoyed a quality meal each time we visit. Would recommend!

My family, including my three kids, had dinner here tonight. We were initially delighted when, after paying the bill, the young server provided my two daughters with a lollipop and a gun toy each, and then placed the remaining toys back in the drawer. However, the situation took a turn when my son also wanted a gun toy. Despite seeing many in the drawer earlier, when I asked another server, who appeared to be a manager or owner, he claimed they were out. I didn't argue at that moment. Yet, after my inquiry, this manager harshly and loudly reprimanded the young server in the back hall. My daughter noticed there were still 8 gun toys left in the drawer, but the manager insisted they were out when I approached him again. I explained that my 3-year-old son might fight with other kids if he didn't get one, only for the manager to assert there were limits on the toys and refused to provide another, blaming the young server's mistake. I'm bewildered by the manager's stinginess over such cheap toys, as demonstrated by a photo I posted of my 5-year-old daughter holding the toy. This incident, reflective of the manager's cheapness and poor treatment towards both the kids and his employee, significantly tainted our experience. The sole reason for my 2-star rating is the kindness shown by another female owner/manager towards our children. Due to this toxic environment created by the cheap manager, we won't be returning and I advise against working in such a place. Kid-friendliness: Negative experience. See my comments above

It might be because it was the end of the day. Both soups had overcooked noodles and the broth was not clean for the pho and tasteless for number 41. It’s a very spacious place but boy does it need some cleaning and order. Wishing them all the best.

I eat here often. I have Celiacs so I have to be very careful when I eat out. The owner here is very nice in this very aware of celiacs disease because it is also in her family. There are quite a few gluten-free dishes and if you let her know she's very knowledgeable about cross-contamination. I can have everything from bun bo hue, to curry, to pork chops and chicken, dalad rolls and chicken wings...the list goes on. I have never once had a bad meal here and the service is always over the top good. Dietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable for celiacs disease and in regards to cross contamination. Parking: Off of Calgary trail and 61 ave there is plenty of free parking in the back of the building

Portions were huge! All the staff were so kind and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
