Beer was great and food was good but not so much customer service... Literally, a $10 security chain to block off the area that you say is behind the bar (but doesn't really look like it) would stop Adam behind the bar yelling at people for stepping 2 feet into an otherwise innocent looking area. It's not your customers fault on their first visit ever for your bad setup.
I tried the Der Kaiser and the Enterprise ESB. Both were excellent. I also had a great burger with fries. My daughter had a hot dog which she said was good. They have a bar area with a rooftop which was really nice. They also have beer hall
I was blocked in to their handicap parking spot because somebody illegally parked in front of it. I asked three different employees if they could find the individual who was illegally parked and asked them to move their vehicle. The kitchen manager, the tap room manager, and whoever was serving drinks upstairs at the time. The kitchen manager told me there was nothing they could do because it would take JSO 2 hours to get there their l, Tap Room manager just not at me, and whoever was serving drinks upstairs told me there was nothing they could do. I ended up calling JSO who went in and asked them to move the vehicle within 30 minutes which they did immediately. Y'all can do better.
The gold standard for brewery/bar/kitchen. A good go-to before any event downtown (but remember everyone else will, too, so it gets crowded). They currently have an amazing key lime beer.
Great place to grab a beer and some food on a work trip. Sergio (bartender) was incredibly friendly and discussed the different kinds of beer with me, as well as discussing the Jaguars, the history of Jacksonville, and other sporting events. Beer and food were both great. Great place to hang out.
Been coming here every single time we hit an event downtown. Only came for the beer which has a ceiling to floor chalkboard of variety. If your a fan of any type of beer you WILL be satisfied. Their private label brand is also made in house. Also very cool that the design of the restaurant allows you to see the "backroom" where the beer is cultivated.
