Intermission Bar and Kitchen Chicago

Slow service, out of to many items. How can it take >30 minutes for 2 orders of pancakes ? ( And that was just about all they had left)

We stayed at the Cambria hotel and wanted to get a bite and a drink before watching a show. Atmosphere at the restaurant was great, however we waited 15 min for the bartender to tend to us just to give us attitude. The food was horrible at best. It’s bar food, but really bad. The $16 buffalo chicken dip was a joke. It was straight up buffalo sauce like from a Sweet Baby Rays bottle, with pieces of chicken in it. It was so liquid and far from being a ‘dip’. $15 Margherita flatbread was undercooked as the cheese wasn’t even fully melted. Drinks are okay but skip the food.

bartender and guests have funky attitudes

It was good, but would have been better had they included the avocado and tomato as expected on my open faced eggs benedict.

Charging stations at each seat. You order with a URL at your seat. Service was attentive. Bloody Mary was ok.

I got the pizza flatbread and two cocktails. It was bar food and nothing to write home about but the drinks were delicious and the bartender was kind and attentive

Went for drinks during happy hour. Bartender was amazing and very friendly and interactive with all guests. Nice convenient bar for hotel guests.

My girlfriends and I stopped here before a House of Blues concert on a recommendation. Beautiful location along the riverwalk. We were super impressed with everything. Our server Fiona was amazing! The ambiance was lovely. The music may have been a touch too loud, but overall tasteful. We loved the menu variety. Overall, the food portions were just right and very delicious. I would suggest they make the gnocchetti portion a bit larger, and the wine pour could be a bit more generous. With that being said, I would highly recommend giving them a try.
