Great staff and great beer
Friendly staff and a great selection of beers and spirits.
Possibly the best taproom experience we had on our trip to New York. Super friendly staff, great beers and food, can't recommend it enough.
Cool little place, some food onsite. Specializes in lagers/pils. Right around corner from Grimm
Excellent food, beer, and service. I recommend getting the flight to try as much as possible. All varieties I had were good. Brat special was served quickly and hit the spot. Watch out for speedy delivery guys in the bike lane if you’re sitting outside
Good vibes, interesting beer and cocktail choices. But slow service and especially slow food/snacks.
On a positive note it is very close to Grimm which is great, and the bar staff seem like nice people. Sorry if this review hurts anyone's feelings over there but the sad reality is that it is a dungeon-like space that offers very little to welcome in guests. It reminds me of old Queen's bars from the 1990s where you would go to buy coke. The beer is simply not good. I'm not sure what they would claim is their best style, but the hazy ipa was malty, the lager tasted like it was steeped with old pennies, and the sour I tried was pure citric acid in fruit juice. I can't imagine they will be in business much longer. Friday at 7 pm there were 4 people in the taproom. If you are at Grimm and you are reading this considering whether you should walk over to this place, just stay where you are and know you are not missing anything.
