This was the worst experience I've ever had in Toronto! We booked a table for my birthday and I'd like to mention how we've a whole conversation about "if you ate late for 10mins you are not gonna get any table" on the table and then we got there and they had already given our table to someone else! After waiting for half an hour not only didn't we get any apology, we had to leave hungry and my birthday was ruined. Again the worst service ever!

Insomnia is a Toronto staple as far as I'm concerned. I'd only ever been there for brunch before (they make fantastic benedicts - but as for the home fries without ketchup otherwise they come pre-doused). Last night I went there for drinks for the first time and it was pretty great - my apple martini was delicious.

Insomnia is my favourite brunch spot! Excellent service from Lili, always so welcoming and friendly!
