Skip this one. I’ve gotten insomnia cookies in MD and they’re amazing. The worker at this location acted as if I was troubling him by coming in the store. Let alone the stale cookies he stuffed in the box. I wouldn’t have left these for the birds to eat.
The cookies it self wasn’t anything special. Tasted like regular cookies you would make yourself. The only reason why I would say it’s worth it is because of the BOGO deal they have for the 12 pack, which is buy a 12 pack for $30 and get another 12 pack for free. If there wasn’t any deal then it’s not worth the price AT ALL. 6/10
I usually never leave these reviews but DO NOT COME HERE. The lady at the counter was the rudest person I have ever met and whenever I asked her a question she would mumble the answer (which was unintelligible) and then literally get mad after I told her I didn’t understand. She also yelled at me to move out of the way despite the place literally being empty. I’ve never been treated so terribly by a service worker before until I came here. AVOID
If I could give it zero stars I would, I greeted the worker and he gave me an attitude I asked for my order and he rolled his eyes and gave me a hard time for it. the fat guy with the beard and glasses is a horrible worker, he threw my cookies into the box and treated me horribly. Terrible experience and horrible service.
Moments before I got to this point of writing this review, I noticed the 3.9 rating that reviewers gave this cookie bakery. When I choose a restaurant to go to, from the Zagat dining guide, I want a rating of a least 4.3. I wish I had looked up the rating before I chose to go to Insomnia Cookies. The Oatmeal Raisin Cookie ($3.21 including tax) was bland, and its named ingredients here were not recognizable to me from its taste. I threw it out after two bites.
African girl working there this morning very unpleasant rude & nasty horrible service never going back.
