Indy Porkopolis BBQ

Drove in, saw it was a gas station, should have left, but I like local places. The French fries and the corn bread were good. The Mac and cheese was soaked in cheese and not tasty. The coleslaw was awful looking, and the taste was disgusting. The brisket was fair tasting but not where it should be. The pulled pork and pulled chicken were bland. We tried the bbq sauce, very vinegar and not tasty. The baked beans were terrible and tasted awful. The burnt wends were poor, no smoke flavor, just chunks of cooked meat. We ended up throwing it all way. Very disappointed!

Ordered burnt ends from food truck in the neighborhood and it was easily the worst I've personally ever had. Exact same experience as the person who posted similar review 3 months ago (N G) for burnt ends... All fat (100%), soggy, no sauce; I have photos to show the owner if in doubt. These were not burnt ends in any definition. I thought I had over heard someone on the truck say that they didn't have burnt ends prepared, and anticipated they were going to ask me if I wanted something else - which I gladly would have done; but they didn't and served me all soggy fat. Perhaps don't advertise something you don't have, and let the customer know so we can switch to something you do have. Very disappointed...

Was a little worried when we pulled up and seen it was attached to a gas station, however that is the only disappointment. Really no big deal to me, as we still went in. Was greeted immediately even the doors where held open for us by a staff member. I got yhe tenderloin with mac n chs, hands down one of the best of both I've ever had. The tenderloin is served on texas toast, also new to me. I loved it! Hubby got 3 meats (pork, brisket, rib tips) with Mac n chs and cornbread. The biggest piece of cornbread, and soooo good. Every single meat was tender and full of flavor! We will definitely be back!! We looked on Google and found them, and drive over an hour so I'm supper glad it was so good!!

If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would. This my 1st time coming and got the half lbs of rib tips, greens, and Mac and cheese and was so damn good. I had came back for seconds. I will be going here weekly. Next week I’m trying all meats.

The food was very tasty, the burnt ends are EVERYTHING! The wings, mac n cheese, baked/green beans and tacos are very good! I will return soon! Keep going and the customer service was above! Much Appreciated!
