Delicious and healthy. Sweetgreen eaters take notice, this is what a real lunch looks like
I don't understand why this cart has received so many positive reviews. Today, I decided to try it out for myself and ordered chili chicken with rice. However, I was extremely disappointed with the meal because it didn't taste like chili chicken at all. It was more like regular chicken over rice, nothing special. The employer's behavior was rude too
Visited this truck on a very cold day and had a long train ride home and evening was still very warm and fresh when I got to enjoy. I had the chicken tikka over yellow rice with white sauce and chimichurri and it was delicious. Flavors were fantastic and portion was great! A little spicy just FYI for anyone sensitive to spice but I loved it without adding additional hot sauce.
Had stomach issues for a few days, great flavor but I guess if your stomach is sensitive. And I eat really spicy. Wasn’t food poisoning but I am paying in some way.
small food cart parked in FiDi blending flavors from India and the Middle East into a small variety of rice platters, sandwiches, and savory eats. open from lunchtime to late evening most days--there's typically a small line that moves quickly as lunchtime draws the worker crowd / evenings pull a more tourist crowd. ordered a Chicken Tikka over rice while it will not be what you'd get in a sit-down Indian restaurant…it‘s still good but was more a fusion of flavors in a halal cart style...my order did its job--flavorful, satisfying, and filling. the serving of chicken and rice is ample; there's a tiny salad on the side, and you can top your food with a tangy white sauce as well as hot sauce. service is relatively fast and friendly. and Zuccotti Park is right across the street if you want that al fresco experience without table service!
