Il Venetian

First time dining at II Venetian. The food was amazing at this restaurant, and the service was top of the line. The server we had was very knowledgeable about the menu, and he was extremely attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This place has amazing food, great atmosphere. And here is how you know it is high-end. Our waiter was terrible. But the manager stepped in, took care of us himself, and comped the wine our waiter forgot. Classic!

Beautiful atmosphere and outstanding service. Can’t go wrong with the Wagyu Carpaccio. Dessert was cutely presented too!

Food was good and so was the service and every one was very nice

The staff at this restaurant is amazing. I've stopped in a few times since I'm staying in the hotel. The front staff has been super friendly and remembered me on site. They were so helpful with all of my questions and made excellent suggestions. I ate at the bar and the bartender was also superior. He enjoyed describing the various menu items in detail and it was clear he was appreciative that he was able to represent and recommend such fine food. His service was of the finest quality as evidenced by the subtle way he indicated to the server which customer's meal it was with just a slight nod. I had the veal agnolotti and it was just amazing. The veal had a silky tenderness and the pasta was very light, just there to hold things in place. They practically melted in your mouth. You must try it if you're in the area.

My wife and I were making our first visit to Cleveland and chose Il Venetian based on what we'd read on-line. We were delighted. Food, service, and ambience were all impeccable. Our waiter was attentive and informative without being intrusive. The sommelier was in equal parts friendly, unpretentious, and knowledgeable and steered us to an Amarone that was other-worldly. With respect to our food selections, we had the Waygu carpaccio and clam chowder as appetizers; the agnolotti and rigatoni as mains; and the olive cake for dessert. Truly delicious.

We went here because our hotel recommended it, and we were checking out the city for the night. The food was mediocre at best. Tasted almost like there was no seasoning. Waiter was very kind, and the place is beautiful. I do not recommend going here for any kinda of food.
