Great combo salad

SUCH a fabulous neighborhood restaurant!!! We happily go at least once a week!! Dietary restrictions: They are so wonderful here!! My husband Scot Terry and I Love eating here and come at least once a week. Definitely Great food and staff. And also fabulous that it's in Great North Beach near where we happily live ❤️! They are most helpful in juggling their delicious meal around my annoying allergy to wheat flour!! Thus my Great order of grilled chicken is without a bun!! Sadly I have an allergy to wheat flour . Happily I can eat most other grains like oat corn quinoa rye!! AND they tastefully talk you through these key details!! Thrillingly we go there at least once a week!!

Il Polliao, an eatery on Columbus Avenue with no airs, specializing in chicken at affordable price; it cultivates a neighborhood even as its interior reminds me of Edward Hopper’s somber Nighthawks. Their art hangings and festoons lend it life, making it a place of regulars like me and you. As a vegetarian , love their combination salad ; simple and hearty but fresh and flavorful; the service is convivial. It may look like a diner but it’s food quality is of a fine restaraunt.

I've visited this restaurant more than 100 times over the past years, every dish they brought to the table is delicious !

Really nice, relatively affordable and comfortable place for roast chicken. The chicken was a bit overcooked for my tastes.
