IL Paesano Italian Gourmet Food Cafe, Deli and Wine Market

I ate here for the first time last night. The experience was wonderful! All the food was delicious, the customer service was top notch, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and warm. There's no question that the owners take great pride in their work. Thank you both for providing us with a great experience!

We cannot remember the last time we ate somewhere the food not only lived up to the hype but exceeded all expectations. The owners were gracious and very proud. The food was exceptional and the dessert was the best thing I’ve put in my mouth in a long time!

Food was tasty and deli meats seemed high quality but it's exorbitantly expensive for the tiny portion sizes. Paninis are $15 and lasagna is almost $18. Lasagna comes in a small square glass Tupperware container which makes it really difficult to eat and it's like two bites. There was no free bread basket as advertised. Service completely sucked, aloof, tired, absent, unfriendly. We were going to get a chocolate cake but whoever was waiting on our table never came back. I had to get up from the table and called some woman behind the counter 3 times to get her attention and for someone to bring us the check. Finally a guy came with a sour face which by the way he sported the whole time.

Excellent food and very good service in a nice environment. The lasagna, penne alla vodka, taglitelle with crab sauce and bread were all very good. The charcuterie and truffle cream pasta are also very good choices. Go to the Parmigiano Wheel Dinner when offered. Nice Italian wine selection too.

Il Paesano is undoubtedly my favorite dining experience in the state. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want a homemade meal, the family will take care of you. The service is unrivaled and everyone is quick to make recommendations, answer questions, and make you feel right at home. My fiancé and I have been coming here often enough that together we’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu - and you absolutely cannot go wrong! Truly one of my favorite restaurants of all time, make sure you’ve got room for dessert.
