Il Melograno

I wrote this review in Italian and Spanish because the vibe was very off at this restaurant. The food is excellent but again the vibe was off. This location is more for couples only and their regulars. Not tourists. As visitors we spent $50 USD per person. La cena è stata eccellente, la location fenomenale, ma il servizio e l'atmosfera erano un po' fuori luogo. Questo posto è più adatto alle coppie e ai clienti abituali punto. Non è molto adatto ai turisti o alle famiglie con bambini piccoli. Sono andato con i miei ragazzi adolescenti e l'atmosfera non era buona. Tuttavia, ho visto altri clienti ricevere un ottimo servizio clienti, quindi immagino dipenda tutto dai camerieri. Kid-friendliness: No. Wheelchair accessibility: The location of the tables will not allow a wheelchair to get to the washroom room. Unless the wheelchair is 18 inches wide, maybe 20, but nothing more than that.

Great food!

We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner! The service was 10/10 — thank you, Leo, for taking such good care of us! We sat in their enclosed patio area with our small dog and they were so accommodating. The food is delicious as well! Generous portions and everything tasted so fresh and the pasta was piping hot when it came out (and cooked perfectly al dente). We had two salads to start and then the pappardelle and spaghetti as our mains. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We look forward to returning soon.

Excellent food and service. Tons of options for vegetarian and vegans! The pomegranate drink was great. The best dish was ravioli with green peas gravy. They can actually elevate the spice level, which was surprisingly good .

Terrible wrapping of leftovers. They need to use all their outside warmers too. Good food, but pretty much like any Italian restaurant. They need to improve on their customer service.

If I could give more stars I would. I had reservations for Friday night at 6:45 coming from Long Island we ran into some heavy traffic and got there around 7:10. They typically wait 20 minutes for the reservation but they quickly accommodated us and found us seats. This is as authentic as it gets when it comes to Italian food. The atmosphere of that place is perfect for a date night or night out. They have low candle lit lights and bottles of wine on the walls. Everything was amazing from the appetizers to the wine to the main entree. Will definitely be back. Best Italian food I’ve ever had!
