We had coffees, dessert, and pizza for dinner. They are all amazing. Our server is awesome as well.

Amazing! Held our Wedding reception dinner in the Sala room. I can't say enough great things about this place. Great food, attentive service, and obvious focus on atmosphere. Steve provided top notch service. This was also the location of our first date and it was so great to bring our family to this restaurant to celebrate. Highly recommend!

. . . another amazing visit at our favorite Italian restaurant, Il Fornaio . . . fresh and AMAZING Italian dishes, and what a warm and friendly restaurant!!! We always feel like "family" here . . . I've been a loyal patron for over 30 years!

I don't know what's happened to Il Fornaio. We've been coming here for years; had them cater several events... but now? We went to Il Fornaio for New Years Day and were very disappointed in the service. We use to be greeted at the door often by the owner and felt very welcomed. This time we felt like we were putting the servers out by our presence. We asked to change tables because it was cold in the middle of the restaurant and we had a baby joining us. They put us to the side and had us wait and wait with lots of eye rolling from the servers. Our waiter as very inexperienced and just did the bare minimum as far as being attentive. After we ordered he told us about a steak that was not on the menu but I have no idea if there were any other specials. Our order was mixed up, no apology. The manager walked around but never talked to anyone and seemed to be constantly mad at the servers which was very uncomfortable. They use to have amazing bread that I looked forward to, not anymore. I don't know if it changed hands but it was not what we have been accustomed to. Sad, it was a very good restaurant. Except for the lighting, it's always been way too bright in there. Hopefully they will fix the service situation. Service can make or break a restaurant.
