Il Farro Restaurant

Truly a lovely and welcoming experience from the moment we arrived at the restaurant. The Chef welcomed us like family and our waiter was attentive and kind. The food was delicious and homemade, very fresh. I would eat here everyday if I could! Definitely put this place on your list. Our dining experience at Il Farro has been the highlight of our trip. Chef O, Chef O, Chef O Truly one of a kind. Not only is this the best Italian food I have ever had, but the chef sat down at our table met the need of us (vegetarians) and created a one of a kind dish. We landed @ Il Farro by the luck of the draw and MAN were we lucky! Anytime I am in Newport Beach I will be coming back. Thank you Chef O truly the best dining experience I have ever had.

Italian music playing, nice quiet restaurant, right on the beach. Very nice place. My girlfriend ordered a four-cheese pasta and got lobster pasta on accident. The owner corrected the mistake as soon as her complaint was made, and her four cheese pasta was delivered to the table. Five star service. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of tables that can seat 4-5 people

We took our friends to dinner here at this wonderful establishment last night in fun Newport Beach. Everything was the BEST!!! Homemade pasta, the sauces are authentic, fresh & plentiful portions. Tiramisu is light & delicious. Service is harmonious and friendly. We'll be back!

Newport Beach was my stomping grounds when I was a teen and I remember the delicious smells emanating from il Farro as we walked by. Unfortunately, I moved away for many years and never had the opportunity to eat there. Now, as an adult, I can appreciate what a truly amazing restaurant they are And can’t wait to go back. They have made a perfect slice of Italy right here in Newport for all to enjoy. My mom and I only had drinks on this visit, after walking around Farmers Market, but every dish we saw looked so scrumptious! Some ladies came in only to purchase a loaf of bread, which made us curious, so the bartender was kind enough to bring us some with their delicious garlic olive oil. Absolute HEAVEN!! The Farro (grain) bread, for which they obviously are named for, was straight from the oven, soft, warm & scrumptious! We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more! The bartender was super friendly, the chef came out to greet us, the drinks were great! It was a perfect Sunday afternoon! Thank you I’ll Farro, we will definitely be back!

From the moment I walked in to the door to the minute I left it was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had! Our waiter Fernando was so friendly and kind and attentive and not the fake friendly. He went above and beyond in all aspects and was so knowledgeable and took our likes and dislikes into account. Our bartender unfortunately I could not remember her name but she had long brown hair and medium height but her drinks were so good! Then Chef O I believe was his name was also incredibly kind and his food was unbelievable. Authentic Italian sauces and pasta and the seafood was perfect! My calamari wasn’t chewy! I can not recommend this place enough! If you want the great knowledgeable customer service, excellent AUTHENTIC Italian food this place has it all! I will be coming back for much more !!!!!

I'm a huge fan of Italian food and have some of the best in Colorado. While on vacation walking around we chose to eat dinner here. Watch out for the prices and offers. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The waiter suggested we try their home made pasta instead of the standard dry, for a small up charge. The upcharge was $7.00 each! The chicken was tiny pieces you could barely see or taste. I asked for the Bread and Oil that on the menu said the first basket is free. We were told that changed and we were charged $4.00 for 4 pieces of bread. And don't get me started on the $15.00 margaritas that weren't very good. Once in a life time meal. I won't ever be going back but maybe you will have better luck.
