IHOP

Eating here brings back memories of going to A&W and BK in Belpre with my mom. A hot dog, fries, and a root beer.

Very good food and good price and had a great server

Marietta, OH is the worst IHOP I have ever been to. The place was not only dirty, there seemed to be very few people working during dinner time. We waited 15 mins for a hostess to show up to seat us even though the place had only a couple of customers. The same girl that sat us, also came back to take our order, but everytime we ordered something, they were out of something that went on it. The list of things we needed that she said they were out of are as follows, BBQ sauce, hollandaise sauce, cheddar cheese, tortillas, the new york cheesecake pieces for the pancakes, and rice. I thought it was funny that they were out of so much with a Walmart literally across the street. We waited for our food for about 30 minutes. The food was only ok. While eating, we watched one of the cooks come out of the bathroom jerking around and seemingly tweeking like he had just smoked or snorted something in the bathroom. The waitress/hostess then apparently forgot to bring us our check and we were just sitting there waiting. Overall, the customers in the restaurant were mostly upset from the very poor service, including us. I do not recommend this place at all.

Update. The last couple of visits, they have been out of various items (grits and biscuits), and the service has been extremely slow. Those two things are not a good sign for us continuing to return here. IHOP is relatively new to the area, and it took a while for us to visit because they are always busy. We have not been disappointed yet! Service has been good, the food fresh, and who can go wrong with a dozen choices of pancakes and multiple syrups to choose from?

What's my first visit to ihop, at first I thought it was only breakfast food, but they have food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Got seated fast, service was excellent, and food was great!!!

Sat for half hour waiting to be seated when there were 20 tables empty. Absolutely horrible customer service.
