We had server Lilliana. There were two of us, and both of us had 3 pancoins to redeem for a free short stack of pancakes. She immediately rolled her eyes. We explained to her that previously we redeemed a similar code at ihop and we had to sit at two different tables she said, no problem it will be fine to sit together. She said did we want any drinks or anything else, we said no and again she rolled her eyes and gave us an attitude. She comes back saying only one of the codes worked, I repeated what I said before about how the codes can’t be redeemed on the same ticket and asked for a manager. She talked over me explaining the situation as I was talking which was extremely rude. We waited 10 mins no manager came. We asked another server for the manager he said the manager was not in at the moment. She comes back saying she figured it out, brought us our food and did not say another word to us. Did not check on us, nothing. We even overheard her and another coworker talking about us. Unacceptable service. We were treated like non tippers from the beginning and we were made to feel uncomfortable being talked about, looking at eye rolls, and given attitude!!! Hopefully management can speak to this employee and she can work on her attitude for future customers of color!!! She was nice and checked on every other customer in her section who were also Hispanic, but the two African Americans (us) in her section she overlooked, discriminated against, and treated poorly.
