IchiUmi Sushi (Haru Sushi)

I miss Sushi Sake, but this one is growing on me thanks to the wonderful service and lovely meal. They will also do custom rolls, so one day, we may recreate the spicy susan roll.

I went here recently and it was not a pleasant experience. It looks like they got poor services management. Some of the staffs hurried past by but No one noticed we were there. We asked two different people for water but still didn’t get it until our waiter noticed us. WOW. And it was not that busy. Big NO. Last experience: It was a random dinner before the movie. But the tonkatsu yakisoba tasted so good! And the server was really hospitality! I will be back next time. Then give more specific details about the food.

My first time at IchiUmi and what a delight! I ordered the Chirashi and WOW Will definitely go back again!

OMG, this review was originally posted to the WRONG establishment. I meant to review Jim's Restaurants. They were terrible! I was so embarrassed that I decided to go to IchiUmi (not the place I originally reviewed!!) to fix my mistake. At IchiUmi, I was very cordially greeted on arrival, incredibly well accommodated, and seated within minutes. My order was impeccably taken, and the fact that I asked specifically for no a change to the sushi recipe (no seaweed, no avocado) was very much accommodated. Best sushi I've had in forever. Waitstaff were attentive, and professional. I'd not only recommend IchiUmi, I will take friends and family there as well. Excellent restaurant, excellent service.

This has to be one of the BEST if not the best, sushi places I've ordered my takeout dinner from! Absolutely LOVE their rolls and they are so kind and friendly!

I wouldn’t order any sushi with eel in it. It isn’t pleasant encountering bones in your sushi. The eel tasted fishy and fatty, quite disgusting.

Their bulgogi is out of this world! The spicy tuna role is actually spicy. They are so friendly, always going above and beyond. I asked them to make me some rolls without rice and they were very happy to accommodate.

A great place for larger parties since they do have a back room to accommodate. It is easy to make reservation here too. I recommend getting their Shiso if you love sashimi. It comes with brussel sprout, agedashi tofu and shrimp with udon salad, 20 pieces nigiri sushi (tuna, salmon, fatty salmon, yellowtail, escolar, sea bass, red snapper, mackerel, albacore, eel) & 32 pieces sashimi combination (chef choice of 8 kinds of fish). I fell in love with their caramelized Brussels sprouts. It was crispy and sweet and perfect at the same time. Definitely coming here again just to order that alone. Another cool thing is that with the fish head, you can asked them to grill it for you and it still taste great! You can see it in the picture I post.
