My experience at the bar was beyond dreadful. The bartender's refusal to serve me, coupled with an appalling display of rudeness, made it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority. The bartender made a huge scene after completely ignoring me and serving several other people who arrived after me. I was completely sober and not at all rude in trying to catch his attention. This place not only lacks in service but also in basic human decency. Save yourself the frustration and find a more welcoming spot to enjoy a drink.
Not fresh and not tasty. Toasted caprese sandwich was cold in the middle. Arugula salad was stale and tasteless. They don't carry salt to add to the food. It seemed like there were six people working behind the counter but the staff there don't seem to care.
Careful, if you use your card or Apple Pay, they charge you an extra $2.00?! I’m sorry, but that needs to be posted somewhere. That money could be going towards your employees, but if they want to charge the consumer for using our card, I guess the staff suffer and that is not fair. Greed at its best!
Edwardo was great, employees are fine. I get they want to create a fancy atmosphere, but I feel the menus are a bit hard to read and does everything need to be in Italian? I'm fine with them not knowing my name, or not hand-cut their bread, not when I'm trying to make a flight. If this was a dine-in place, it would be understandable, but it's hard to recreate an atmosphere of poshness and upstanding when it's literally surrounded by gates and people in a rush to get to places on time. I get the Italian menus makes it look upper class, but when I'm trying to make a flight, it just becomes annoying. The food is fantastic, easier to read menus and maybe less what could be perceived as pretention would probably make this a great place to get food. The employees are fine, they seem to be doing exactly what they want them to do, some of them are very courteous and helpful.
Great coffee, horrible pastries ♀️
I’m 25 years old. I tried to get a drink here and because my state ID is vertical (regardless of me being over the legal age requirement to drink) I was refused service. They claimed it’s “company policy”
We stopped to get breakfast sandwiches before our flight. I walked up to the counter to order & there were 2 employees conversing. I asked the girl if I ordered here & she was SO RUDE. She continued her conversation with her coworker. We finally ordered. When the coffee came out we asked if we could make a change. The guy literally rolled his eyes & said something under his breath. We get the sandwiches & they’re DRY. Mine came with cheese. There was no cheese. I could barely swallow it. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!
The staff makes this a very unwelcome experience which is unfortunate because I've had their $15.00 Caprese sandwich and I liked it. Today I'm taking a 9 hour flight and instead of eating the food offered on the plane, I chose to purchase the Caprese sandwich. Last time I purchased it at the bar, the bartender gave me an herb olive oil dressing to dip it in. I was under the impression that this is the way it comes. This time I requested 2 sauces since I was going to share the sandwich. When we went to pick it up, and asked for the sauce, a rude employee snapped that "it's on the sandwich already!" Don't be in the service industry and negate the customer's request... So we had to go back again to the cashier working the register to get one sauce. Then I had to go to the bartender to get the second one. Seriously??? We also ordered the Prosciutto and melon salad. We had to return it because the meat was brown instead of pink... There is alot of potential here, but the lackluster, inconsistent customer service will prevent me from coming back ever again.
