This is an amazing restaurant! They told us they had been closed for a few months and reopened today. Such a great find. The food was incredible and very well priced, we got free tea, and the owner came and told us a bit about her culture and how all the recipes are local to Shanghai, where she grew up. She even gave us recommendations for what we might like next time. We got the yellow croaker with preserved vegetables noodle soup and the pan-fried pork soup dumplings. Will definitely be coming back!
Said open on Google maps but not open
As of early 2023, we went there twice. The dumplings were good, very similar to what we had in Bay Area location. But the two waiters were very unprofessional.
Very bad service. He looks very grumpy.
Food was great Kid-friendliness: Lots of boosters and highchairs available.
Filthy and disgusting place. Simply not safe. I rarely post negative reviews but I just don’t want anyone to get sick there. I love Chinese food and appreciate an authentic experience. But this place is totally terrible. Severely understaffed, no host to greet clients, they sit Chinese speakers first regardless the waitlist. The restroom is in the worst state I ever seen - waste is covering the walls, simply a biohazard site. So please avoid by all means, especially if with kids.
solid XLB, but the fav at the table was the shen jian bao! fried rice is good but the portion is smaller than I'm used to. the porkchop was decent and the chili oil is great!
