The house stout aka Shamrock Stout from Howe Sound Brew is now our go to pint! Very smooth and creamy; washed down with a full Irish of course
Very lively arround St.Patricks day!!
A cozy little pub that reminds me of home! Staff are so friendly and the food is fab!
Been here about a dozen times. Almost always a bad experience. Bad food, much worse service. Last night I ordered the chicken pot pie; the quality was similar to a TV dinner and everything was still cold in the middle. My friend ordered a virgin Caesar; it was just Clamato and ice and they charged him over $9 for it. Unacceptable service and quality. Server was grumpy and seemed unable to turn her head in our direction the entire night. The alcoholic drinks were fine. Often a big crowd of people illegally smoking out front, blocking the entrance and the sidewalk- management has lots of problems to fix before this place ever gets my business again.
Feels like pub back home in Ireland, sound bartenders and great craic!
Great pub with lots of food and drink options. We went here on a Tuesday night and it was already pretty busy. Everyone really enjoyed the food. The place is very kid friendly with a dedicated kid's menu. They even had Murphy's on tap, which is not common. There was no love music when we went, but a sign says most days there are. The place initially looked small, but there was a whole other section inside. The staff was very friendly, but it seems there was limited staff at that time so it was a bit of a wait, but nothing unreasonable. I recommend trying this place out if you're looking for a pub.
Good atmosphere for 20 to 30 years olds UBC students mainly looking to chat with friends. They also regularly have live music. Parking: Not a lot of parking near by.
Best chicken strips I've had. Their music is so good I kept adding their songs to my Spotify studying list. Perfect ambience for a chill hangout
