Hunan Chinese Restaurant

Very enjoyable Sichuan food within Fresno. I enjoyed the buttercream prawns, which were crispy and slightly sweet, and the dumplings in the garlic chili oil sauce. Too bad there's a long wait; I could not get in on day one but made it on day 2. Portions are generous in terms of quality of shrimps and dumplings. I will be happy to return again

This place has always been excellent and delicious, definitely worth it. I really hope they don't end up closing down at the end of the month.

Great food, the very best if freso Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out

I was really looking forward to the food after reading the reviews. It was very disappointing and over priced. I guess my first clue should’ve been they were short on kitchen help.

Parking: Fantastic food. I haven't ate hee in more than 30 years and Hunan did not disappoint.

Vegetarian options: Many veggie options. We got the pan fried noodles, spicy eggplant and Jung pan tofu. All were great!

We really enjoyed our visit. We managed to catch them between the lunch and dinner service, so there wasn't too much competition for the waitress' attention. The food was very fresh, and really well made. We had the walnut shrimp, sweet and sour pork, hot and sour soup, broccoli chicken, and potstickers. The service is family style, so we all got to try a bit of everything, and everybody seemed to enjoy all of the dishes. The restaurant is very clean, even the depths of the deep booths were obviously recently maintained. They're tucked back in a little bit of an odd corner, but it is absolutely worth the time to seek this place out! Parking: This is a very large shopping complex that is missing an anchor tenant, so there is an abundance of parking. Hunan is tucked back a little ways from the lot, so if you have somebody with ambulatory challenges you might want to unload them at the curb and then find your spot. Kid-friendliness: Very much a family-friendly restaurant. High chairs are available. Family style service, so it's not a big deal to bring kids in here. Wheelchair accessibility: Good pavement, broad walkways, easy access. Should not be a challenge for anybody in a manual or powered wheelchair. The restaurant is laid out in an accommodating way.
