Humo Barbecue

I had it delivered a few weeks back, and I just went to order again. I guess it's closed. I'm seriously disappointed.

The food and service was top notch for the price. There was a roaming magician when we were there. Fantastic experience for my first time there. We will be back.

I absolutely love Humo. I’ve waited to write a review as I wanted to be sure it was consistently good. The hubby and I were pleasantly surprised when we went to a restaurant featured on TikTok that actually was as good as it looked in the video. Since then we’ve gone there for date night, family night, even ordered catering for our New Year’s Eve party. The prices are spot on, not too expensive, and not too cheap definitely worth every penny. Even the catering experience was wonderful they provided plasticware, in addition to plates and napkins. Somebody came and set it out for us in our house and it was amazing pretty seamless. Needless to say all of our guests thought the food was amazing because we didn’t have any leftovers. Since the first time we went, the restaurant itself has changed a little bit initially when we walked in there was nobody at the front, it initially had some odd logistics, you walk into the front door, there is a bar to your right, and then the restaurant to your left. However, the time that we first went, there was nothing to the left you had to walk further in and wait for someone to ask if you need help. our most recent visit was a few weeks ago and this was completely different. There was somebody at the podium at the front asked if you have reservations, they take you off the reservation list and then seat you. We also noticed they made some aesthetic changes to an awkward space where they work out of, the restaurant area had or has like a stage area and the seating was different the first time around but this time it’s more welcoming. I believe it’s family, owned and operated so that makes things even better. Everything on their menu is spectacular, personally the only thing I would do would be add some Tajin to the esquite but other than that it’s definitely drool worthy. They have a variety of sauces from regular, sweet to hot. My family’s favorite is the sweet one. It goes with everything including the corn. I’m not sure if I have any pictures but I’ll search my phone for them. Every time we go we try to save a little bit because it’s always better than next day. However, the leftovers are always first come first serve for whoever wakes up that morning lol. Get on Yelp and make reservations more than likely there will be a wait if you don’t. Don’t wear anything nice or bring a shirt you can throw on because it might get messy. It’s so damn good you don’t care though.

I was going to leave a terrible review for this place because of the news that has transpired, but Humo doesn’t deserve more of a hard time as it is. The building that Humo is located was bought out by a pro fighter, Floyd Mayweather, they were assured that they would stay thriving and in business but recently they got a notice that they had to vacate the premises in a short amount of time without warning. I don’t know if it’s true or not but if it is Mayweather’s team are doucebags trying to profit off of Super Bowl and don’t give two damns about the people affected. I really hope the new restaurant in place of Humo gets boycotted because they absolutely do not deserve this.

Man what a good bbq spot. Came in for the brisket and burnt ends . Sides were street corn and potatoes salad. They had three sauces which all were top tier in flavor. But they are moving locations. Can’t wait to return when there back up and running.

The service was great. The place is very nice on the inside. The building is called gambit but inside you will find the restaurant. Bbq was very good. Burnt ends wasn't as tender as I wanted but taste good. The bbq sauces here are great. Ribs and brisket was good too

The meats are to die for. The macaroni and cheese is amazing, the potato salad is fresh, and crisp, but is a great way. They have a great selection of cocktails, and the ambience was nice, something different for a barbecue place. Parking: Parking is in front of the restaurant, it is their own parking lot
