Hummus Xpress

The food is mediocre, interesting flavors and combinations but the cafeteria service style is super slow and unimpressive. Price is definitely high but the area generally is expensive but you have to deliver on the food and it misses the mark. The staff is very friendly and nice but the product is just mediocre, nobody is going to line up for this food. Why is the rating 4.9, well everyone is nice and friendly so you do feel nice after leaving. I wish I could have left a better review but people need to be honest this is a terrible food idea, I don't think it could be a hit anywhere. I would recommend the streamlining order process, limiting options with set plates and perhaps a self service condiments bar. Or bring the grill out front and freshly prepare the meat. Good luck ✌️

If you are Black do not support this place. I experienced extreme disrespect with one of the workers putting his hands on me to keep me from charging my phone while dining at this establishment. The definition of all skin folk ain’t kin folk

Got the chicken Schwarma. Good portion size could split between two. Super friendly service. Family owned. everything seemed and tasted super fresh. More options than usual: two types of Pickled cabbage, crunchy roasted chickpeas, bunch of stuff ya don’t often see. Express jalapeño sauce with the original was very good combo Will come back!

Absolutely awful food! $18 for 3 small, horrible falafels, old pita bread, a little hummus spread, lettuce, one piece of eggplant and small amount of red cabbage topping. Stay away from this place as it is definitely not worth it. Not sure how they stay in business.

Hands down the best falafel and dolmades I've had -- and I'm a big fan of Greek food, so that's saying a lot! They fry the falafel fresh and to-order. 100% worth any wait!!! If you're looking for an awesome small local business owned by an incredible Black Woman, you found it. She's knowledgeable, friendly, and intentional in providing an excellent experience for customers. I love the warm greetings and patience while ordering from their many options. The spreads and toppings are fabulous. I got the Build Your Own Bowl and that thing was packed full. The prices are great!!! Hummus Xpress is a gem. Nice patio area if you want to enjoy the weather. Open, bright, no frills interior. Vegetarian options: Falafel or Mushrooms as the vegetarian protein options, with lots of vegetarian spreads and toppings! Wheelchair accessibility: Open layout, lots of space by the counter while ordering, and single-level entryway
