Hula Poke

The service was great and the area looks really good, but the food was mediocre at best. Ordered a crispy miso with chicken and sushi rice. The rice was not cooked properly and it felt like it was half way to becoming a rice cake. Soggy, chunks of clumped up rice that should not be in a poke bowl. A poke place that does not cook rice properly....seems off.

Good customer service and food was really good. Server was quick and attentive by Anisha. And this was my first time trying this will ofcourse come again .

The Indian employee was rude and had no customer service at all, I had to wait almost 10 minutes at the cashier to order, while she was on the kitchen area/ stock room. She just showed up once I screamed “Hello”? After handling me my order she did not gave me any napkins or cutlery. I had to ask for it… the portion served was a joke considering the price paid for that, there was barely any chicken and mostly just kale, rice not coming back at all!

The server sounded sick and she was chatting with a customer while making my food. The ancho was missing a few ingredients on top usually a green leaves onion I think and cilantro is missing, I ask her about it, she acted she was looking for it but then she said they don’t have it. It’ll be nice if she mentions it instead of serving the food and missing an item. The ginger kombucha bottle was dirty with food and oil. I had to clean it before touching it and it’s warm not cold. Metrotown hula wears gloves this one didn’t and she’s sick without mask.

Tastes pretty good! But $17 for a poke bowl with 6 cubes of fish in the bowl ain’t it

Great selection for menus. Cashier was friendly and was quick to make our food. The only issue I found was how saucy and rich the poke bowl was. The amount of sauce in it was turning me off and wanted to give up eating it halfway through. Otherwise this location ain't bad.

Very salty and you don't get to customize your toppings. Must choose from preset options.
