The best capuchino in midtown and the service was great
Was closed during stated hours.
Walked a ways to get here, middle of a weekday morning… and it’s closed. No sign on door to explain, no update on Google maps, no update on their phone answering message. Just closed. Update following manager response: I sat outside for 40 minutes on a conference call. Must have been a serious restroom visit! Or you’re not being entirely honest when you write that you were open…
We enjoyed having a coffee and a pastry! Thank you!
Amazing coffee!! Nice guy running the place who I had an amazing conversation with. If you are looking for a legitimate place to get espresso drinks with nicely steamed milk with microfoam and latte art, THIS is your place.
EDIT; They are temporarily closed!! Sign on their door says "temporarily closed for training" and has been for a few weeks. Not sure if this is a sign that they'll be closing permanently. It's a coffee shop but without all the pretentiousness some upscale coffee shops can have. I've gotten their single origin pour overs before which are delicious, but if you want a cheaper option, their standard drip coffee is just as delicious. It doesn't taste burnt like some cheaper places (coughcoughstarbuckscoughcough) and surprisingly has some fruity notes as well. Basically if you want a good coffee, you can't go wrong here.
coming to Brash in the mornings during work is the highlight of each workweek -- Josh the Barista makes the best lattes/latte art and is so kind!
They might just close the whole coffee shop for the day for “training” and then you’re stuck in a coffee desert.
