Bún Bò Huế Tại đây Ngon Số 1.
I visited Hue Oi for the mi quang, and it's the best I've had in OC. The dish was flavorful, clean-tasting, and well-portioned. I only wish they de-shelled the shrimp because once I removed the shells, the shrimp didn't have any flavour remaining, which defeats the purpose of leaving the shells on to retain flavour during the cooking process. All in all though, this place is solid.
Love their bun bo hue! I think it’s one of the best in OC. Really great service and you can call ahead to order to go. Che is good here too and everything is decent!
We are not Vietnamese, so this review focuses on the flavor of the food, not the authenticity. The food is DELICIOUS! We ordered more than what we could finish because we wanted to try a variety of Hue dishes. Highly recommend - A7 - pork belly rolls. This dish came with rice noodle rolls topped with grilled shrimp and boiled pork belly. It was served with a peanut-based sauce. Delicious! H13 fried “pancakes” apologies for not knowing the Vietnamese name of this dish. It came with two “fried pancakes” stuffed with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. We did not know how to eat this dish, so we asked. The traditional way is to rip off pieces of a pancake and wrap with lettuce and other veggies. Very good! Will order again! H1 Hue-style noodle soup. The broth was rich and delicious. We ordered the noodle with all toppings, including less conventional options, just to try everything. Congealed blood is not my personal favorite, but I’m glad I tried everything. The noodle menu is huge, and I will want to try another noodle soup next time. B1 vermeil with grilled pork and shrimp. Never goes wrong! Overall a meal with three entries and an appetizer came to be around $70. But the cheapest in Little Saigon area but the food was so good! Will definitely come back!
Place is great but why do Y'all keep staring at me when i eat my food
Overall, the food was not worth it, but not particularly memorable. We visited for dinner on a Friday and were disappointed to find that three items we wanted were unavailable due to ingredient shortages. Despite only a few groups dining in, it was surprising that they ran out of items (Mi Quang and Banh Khoai) so quickly, especially considering it was only 6pm on a Friday night. I wouldn't recommend it. The food lacks any standout qualities, and the frequent issue of items being out of stock makes the experience unpleasant.
Great food! I got the bun bo hue. It was great and not too spicy. Staff was very professional and there is plenty of parking.
