Upon sitting I wasn’t acknowledged despite the restaurant being slow. Once I finally got a menu and ordered my order was wrong. When I inquired Robert got defensive with an attitude he tried saying I wasn’t allowed to alter my combo. Although , I had already ordered and the server said nothing about the sort. The issue was resolved after going back and forth and quite honestly I couldn’t even eat after. A ruined experience when someone is raising their voice at you .I lost my appetite. Arguing with someone over a mistake I didn’t make . And , if I did what happened to customer service? Regardless this was an unpleasant time. Such a shame. 18 percent gratuity included in the bill for horrendous service. I appreciate the other server who apologized for his colleague. But, it’s still not enough.
HRB is a nice place to get a quick lunch at the Century City shopping center. The fish was fresh and the soy sauce is served in a little dropper which is kind of a fun twist. If you’re familiar with Kazu Nori you know the rolls are served one at a time and best enjoyed while the rice is warm and the seaweed still crisp. For that reason, I did take a star off because I was expecting warm rice and all of your rolls are served at the same time.
Food is delicious. Service is great. Will be back often!
Service was sub-par. Hostess was standing center where there is food service while picking and fiddling with hair. It was off-putting and not conducive to my appetite. The hand-rolls had personality. Ginger seemed to have strands of animal fur in it. It's questionable.
Located in Century City, a really great sushi place you should check out. Offering a outside experience for lunch or dinner. It is a quick service but high quality restaurant. It is located on the top floor next to the other food courts. The lobster and crab rolls are defiantly worth a try!
This is an unique spot at the Westfield area. It’s outdoor sitting only and chill area casual dining. It is a bit overpriced for what they serve, but the ingredients are fresh and sourced locally. The customer service sucks! I was there in the afternoon around 4PM, 3 servers chit chatting and not providing services at all, yet they still bill you 18% service fees for 1 person dining. Lol
Sep/13/23: I was getting a quick dinner with my GF and we saw one of the servers talking with bad words in Spanish about a delivery guy that picked up one packages to go (probably the delivery guy didn’t get the right order)- he yelled at that guy and then came back saying bad words in Spanish- we felt like it was so disrespectful with that guy and also with us because we also speak Spanish- without mentioning that the place is so dirty under the bar you can see so many garbage in the floor , I suggest to provide better training to the people who work there
I ended up getting the 5 handroll plate, spicy edamame and the seaweed salad, all of which were amazing. The only negative thing here was seating - the barstools were uncomfortable. Apart from that, service is great and fast.
The customer service was by far the worst I’ve ever seen for a sushi place. The waitress walked right by us after checking on the people to the left and right of us. We were there for about 45 minutes and never once had a single waiter / waitress ask if we were ready to order. On top of that there were only maybe 15 people and the 5 people working couldn’t even handle the customers there. Fix the customer service issue with your employees or you’ll continue to lose customers. There was another family that also had another issue. Overall just customer issues across the board.
Horrible experience at HRB, imagine you go to a sushi restaurant and they dont serve you Nigiri simply because you are 10 mins past their “Happy Hour”. Plus they have the concept of hand rolls which is nothing but 1 piece of nigiri for the price of 8 piece proper sushi rolls! Avoid wasting your money here!!!
