Howlin' Ray's Hot Chicken - Chinatown

This place is a must try for hot chicken, I believe they are the first in LA. First had them 5 years ago and it is a treat every time we go. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and helpful. Only downside is not enough places to sit as they do not have a dine in space.

In Short, Howlin’ Ray’s is one of the first, biggest and yummiest chicken places in LA. With a fee more details, Service was fantastic, whether it was the people behind the counter creating a fun atmosphere or the exemplary cashier or fun lady handing over orders that are ready. Nice, hospitable, fun to talk to and very welcoming. I’ve come when the lines were long and when the lines were quick and always had a good experience. Ordering is easy, but the results of your orders might induce regret so if you can’t handle the heat stay on the safe side haha They also should be selling milk for the people that make that blunder. But on to the chicken now, tenders were fantastic, thick and juicy and had lots of seasoning and the sando was very well put together as well. I had some tears come down eating the hot stuff but it was worth it if you like pain and spicy stuff. My friend that was with me claimed it was the best chicken sando ever but that up to you to decide now. In my opinion to get the most out of the chicken and enjoy, get the medium and dip it in that extra sauce which was also very yummy. I def recommend this spot.
