Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of Houston’s. BUT the bar is understaffed. They do a great job, but they can’t be taking reservations and serving the customers that are seated at the bar at the same time. They should get help or have a third bartender. It’s very frustrating. Other than that, it’s fantastic
Great customer service from valet to wait staff. The salmon appetizer was amazing.
Nice place for a special night out. Expect to spend $50-60 per person to start. Restaurant is large and fairly dark. We ate at a table in the bar area which we liked. Food was excellent, we had a deviled egg appetizer we shared, Scottish Salmon, Ribs with beer and wine. Service was friendly but spartan. Your server doesn’t deliver your food, so details were missed. We actually had to go to the bar to get a second wine. All parking is done with complimentary valet which is nice but if you don’t carry cash it can be awkward. Parking: Very confusing parking with a huge parking lot adjacent to the restaurant with signs saying parking is only for shopping center with a security guard in a car ready to chase you off. Kid-friendliness: On the web site it seems to discourage children with no kid menu, high chairs or strollers allowed in the dining room.
Five star service and food. Very good restaurant.
What a wonderful meal guided by our waiter Lamar! He was so friendly and hospitable and knew everything about the menu. He was as much of a delight as the incredible grilled artichokes. Cheers!
When you feel like a treat there is nothing better than a cozy booth at Houston’s and a delectable french dip!
