House of Genji

I've been going here since I was a kid. Same quality great service now that I'm an adult I take my family and children here, this place is always been special never disappointed;

A good place for a Japanese style dinner we have not been there for a while but this going to change

Genji @ San Jose In an old building, feel like back to 80’ The food quality is okay and the price is good $ 42 for beef and shrimp. $54 for seafood combo Because many people came to celebrate birthdays, it was very joyful to hear singing all the time.

We were in search for a hibachi restaurant in the Bay area. Not too many around based on Google Maps. We ended up going here on a Saturday night about 6pm. It wasn't too busy at all at the time but started to get busy about 30 min later. This is a typical hibachi with the same salad and miso soup to start with. The hibachi was the same as well. The cook was very entertaining and friendly. The food was not the best I had at a hibachi but it still tasted good. I ordered the chicken and scallops with fried rice. I think it needed more flavor like garlic and salt. Afterwards, they served ice cream. The flavors they had were green tea, orange, & vanilla. The vanilla tasted good. Everything was a good portion of food. I had to box the rest of mine up. Overall it was a good experience.
