House of Biryani

Ate there about 5 times, first time dined in when they first opened. Food was amazing and I think I left a good review. I ordered two deliveries without a problem after that. Then last week I ordered the same thing I always eat, chicken tikka masala and it came without rice. I called them and they refused to send rice saying that dishes come without it and somehow I should know it when ordering online. Zero care for the costumer who was counting in them for dinner. It takes about 45 min for the food to get here via DoorDash and it would cost me $20 for rice alone. Dinner ruined, had to find something else on Saturday 9pm. Decided to freeze the food and make some rice myself another day to eat it with. Defrosted it today, made rice, sat for dinner and for my disappointment it was SO SPICY that neither my husband nor I could eat it. Another dinner ruined and having to figure out what to eat at 9pm on Saturday night. I’m not sure what happened to them since the first time I went there a year or so ago, but it’s extremely disappointing because it used to be one of my favorite Indian food restaurants. Leaving a two stars just because they used to be good, but my current feeling is that it should be only 1 star

Terrible service! The staff (sameer) was rude and inattentive. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews, but I was sorely disappointed Avoid this place at all costs.

We ordered chicken 65 which was my life worst dish never order that again and biryani house is lack in biryani taste instead their mutton haleem is best!

We wanted to go to Tawaqqul but it was closed. Then went in to the House of Biryani and ordered a Goat Haleem, Chicken Manchurian, Vegetable Fried Rice, Daal Tadka and Butter Naan. The fried rice looked dark and tasted way too spicy. The only visible vegetables in it was shredded cabbage. The chicken Manchurian looked so black and unappetising and when I had a bite I found it was only previous night's chicken 65 that looked red and tasted like spicy kabab only drenched with thick dark bitter soy sauce. The daal tadka was only daal tadka by look but tasted nowhere near it. No flavour of daal only spices and chillies. I took out 9 whole red chillies from it. The only positive was the haleem which we really liked. Disappointed.

The foods amazing. The staff is really welcoming and helpful. They cater to your needs and make sure you have the best experience possible! Love the Biriyani, I always ask for extra masala and they do it just that way. The haleem is amazing and the starters as well.
