Service was kind of slow but it was an inviting experience and they had lots of stuff others do not carry.
Nice atmosphere and lounge spot. Even on weekend nights there’s typically very little drama happening here. However, there’s a reason why I stopped coming here. Demeaning staff. And they like to ignore customers that sit up by the bar, they’ll do that as long as they can before you have to get out of your seat and go directly up to where they’re standing, even when it’s not busy. Correct me if I’m wrong, but as a kavatender for this company, don’t you work mostly for tips? It seems counter intuitive that you are not paying attention to the people that would be tipping you. Staff here have made me feel invisible so many times that I had to stop coming by.
Un endroit plutôt sympa, un thé très bon
They listen to music the MOST fun music. And the people behind the bar are so sweet and kind! I highly recommend :)
really great music choice whoever is on aux should be given an award for impeccable taste. even better kratom
Who wants to listen music of people screaming at 10am? Response to the owners - You say it won't happen again but it has. Riley, your employee, either was not told this memo or does not care what you have to say.
Live music and great Mango beer , chill atmosphere.
17$ for two coffees. The cigar store down the street will make you an espresso drink for a 1/4 of the price and it will taste better. I see why they don’t tell you the price when you’re ordering. Or perhaps the guy assumed I wasn’t a local and charged me more. Regardless I highly don’t recommend. 17$ for subpar espresso drinks is ludicrous.
I’ve come here before and really enjoyed it. I stopped by this afternoon after eating lunch to grab a kava. I walk to the bar to order and the bartender is on her phone, looks up and ask how can she help, I asked for a kava with cream. she quickly replies, were out of Kava and I can’t serve you since you’ve been drinking , I turned my drink around in my hand to say this is a sparkling water, she said oh well we’re out of kava I would have to make it or I have a tincture. I told her not to worry about it and I walked out. As someone who is trying to slow down on alcohol and use kava as a replacement, I felt like the bartenders an accusatory attitude was really off putting. There was a much better way to approach that situation as her approach was very offensive. Do better. I’ll stick with Kava culture and Grassroots where I actually feel welcomed!
