I'm not sure why this restaurant doesn't have a particularly high rating, but I've dined in once and ordered takeout twice, and I feel the taste and service are definitely deserving of a 5-star rating. The restaurant, from the chefs to the waitstaff, consists of Sichuan natives, and the Sichuan cuisine they prepare is truly traditional and authentic. If you enjoy spicy Sichuan dishes and are willing to try some rare ingredients, this place is an excellent choice.

服务员态度很恶劣,没有点好东西,就问打包还是带走,真的那么急吗?然后马上叫买单,怕别人不付钱吗?
Great food, good prices, strong recommend. This place is totally under-rated at 3.6 stars because it’s not catering to tourists. As others have noted, there’s not much English spoken here but the crew is friendly enough and willing to find a common ground on google translate if you are. It’s not fancy but you get 5 star rustic at 3 star prices — with plenty of open tables on a Saturday night. Has the Sichuan heat, but I ate with a couple folks with mild palates and it wasn’t too spicy for them. ️ FYI, cash only.
The food is very authentic, the environment is okay, and the price is great. However, the service is lacking! It's a decent place for lunch. I can't believe they serve smoked bamboo here. I also ordered a bottle of Qingdao beer. My life in America is just like my life in Sichuan, but in America . hahaha.
