Had a Ridge Rider and Delta Hurricane. Both excellent beers. Was really impressed with the chicory/coffee of the . Bar service was friendly and helpful with the selection 2/19/24-Adin was extremely helpful with explaining the beer styles and the lamb sausage was excellent
We loved the vibes. Jack our bartender was so chill and knowledgeable. We tried all the beers on tap and love the Cheval duex, the Squeezebox, and the sour. We tried the combo bbq platter. The sides were perfection. The beans and cornbread especially good. The gumbo was rich and spicy but missing a spoonful of rice. The meats were all underseasoned. Everything needed salt. The meats should stand on their own without a sauce. Fall off the bone smokey ribs but lacking salt. Smokey spicy sausage was great but, pulled pork I would not have eaten had I not slathered it in sauce. The Carolina was our favorite but to each their own. Would definitely come back for the beer and the vibes and th3 give the bbq another shot.
Great food. Beers are okay. Was expecting more of a tropical flavor on the HAZY IPA.
I really want to love this place but it’s just lacking that wow factor. The food is decent. The beer is good. The bartenders need to expand their craft and learn how to make better drinks. Maybe they need to brighten the place up or turn up the music. The whole hipster thing doesn’t work on the south side. I look forward to coming here and then I really don’t want to come back any time soon. Again, it’s not bad. Don’t get me wrong. It’s just kind of…meh.
Nice place with good beer. Enjoyed the bartender and food.
