Hop's Chicken

Incredibly disappointing. The chicken sandwich and side of mac & cheese was $18, which is triple what it's worth. It was like the lowest quality cafeteria food.

If you are craving a hot chicken sandwich then this isn’t the spot for you. I order the Chef’s Special Chicken Sandwich and it was disappointing. The chicken itself was dry and was not spicy (description states ‘spicy’), the coleslaw was alright as it complimented the dry chicken breast sandwich. I paid $12 for a sandwich that was not filling with no sides or a drink. Also the tip option is pre-set to 18% (you do have the option to change it), but if u rush through the screen you may tip without noticing. And yes I do not tip on to-go orders.

Food was good from an overall perspective. Unfortunately the price point on this food was outrageous. There are so many better options here for the price. If visiting, avoid this place at all costs.

This place is not the same after the pandemic. They used to make fresh batch when ordered. Today, the chicken was served cold, oily and SUPER salty. Disappointed. :(

I love Ponce City Market and figured I’d try a new spot. Really wish I didn’t. The Mac and cheese was OK. My husband said the greens weren’t that great. We both had the chicken sandwiches and they were pretty good. We spent almost $50 on just those few items plus two bottles of coke. Definitely NOT worth the money. That’s my first and LAST time eating there. Don’t waste your money.

I just got food and I waited for 10 minutes. They bought out fresh hot chicken. Someone had a large family dinner right before me because I saw them fill up the entire box. When I received my food it was warm not hot. What I don’t understand is why is my chicken always warm and on top of that you have me waiting. Why do you have me waiting for warm chicken?? The last time I complained they asked me what they should do about it? Then stated that they could drop it in some hot grease. I had to get the manager. I don’t go often but I prefer their chicken when it’s hot !

Very good chicken. Sides a little bland, in my opinion, but I like spicy food, so it may be perfect for others. Biscuits were dry the day I ate there.

Chicken was awesome

Maybe I got unlucky—the Chef’s Special really didn’t live up to the name. Although the sauce was somewhat flavorful, it couldn’t compensate for the dry and bland chicken. Costing $12 is a tall order for a sandwich of this quality.

We just wanted a quick place to grab lunch, we stopped here and the chicken sandwich was good.
